Environmental Conservation
WGYB is a leading youth-driven organization promoting climate resilience and sustainability through environmental conservation initiatives. We empower youth to protect and restore the planet while improving local livelihoods.
Our focus areas include:
- Tree planting campaigns and community nurseries
- Land rehabilitation and soil protection
- Climate education and awareness
- Green farming practices and agroforestry training
- Forest preservation and anti-deforestation advocacy

Gender Equality & Social Inclusion (GESI)
We promote equal access to education, health, and opportunity for all children and youth—regardless of gender, ability, religion, or background. Inclusion is not an option. It is our standard.
Our GESI programs include:
- Empowerment programs for girls and young women
- Workshops on gender rights and social justice
- Support for children and youth with disabilities
- Engagement of boys and men as gender equality allies
- Anti-discrimination campaigns and community dialogues
- Advocacy for inclusive policies

Peace and Conflict Resolution
Inspired by Rwanda’s history and legacy of reconciliation, WGYB promotes peacebuilding among children and youth. We empower the next generation to become ambassadors of peace in their schools, families, and communities.
Our work includes:
- Peace education and conflict resolution training
- Youth-led peace clubs in schools
- Community healing circles and storytelling initiatives
- National dialogue forums
- Cross-border peace collaborations
- Documentation of peace stories and youth-led advocacy
